JM Gallery is participating in the third edition of art/salamanca/07.
The third edition of art/salamanca will be celebrated between the 6th and 9th of December, with the participation of twenty galleries from Spain and Portugal.
In the panorama of art festivals in our country, art/salamanca bet on creating a space that favours the exchange of ideas and helps to consolidate the industry. Each year the fair elects a theme that must be portrayed in the works of at least one artist from each participating gallery. The theme nominated for this edition is NIGHT.
JM Gallery presents a global offering of this concept in which five artists reflect upon distinct issues representative of nocturnality and its current conceptualization among artists. A place of pleasure, madness, dreams, artificial light, or divinity - these are some of the nocturnal frameworks that symbolize the dark side of the human condition.
