The gallery “Galería JM” began its activity in Málaga in 2001 under the management of its director Javier Marín. Since then it has opting for the latest art, taking risks and presenting delicate projects using up-to-date speech, concepts and forms reflecting on issues which affect globally the society and its form. The power of pretending, the body and the perfidy, the geometric capitalisation of space and the new configuration of time, as well as the new mechanisms of power and the omnipresence of the visual represent parts of the offer the gallery has been presenting to its audience from the first day on. The gallery disposes of a generous and inspiring exhibition space, divided into 2 levels and 2 zones at each level, which made it possible that the major part of the programme consists of projects especially designed for this space. The gallery participated in the art fairs “Art a l´Hotel” in Valencia, “Hotel y arte” in Sevilla y “ArteSantander” in Santander.
